Key Stage 3 is the foundation of our seven year journey towards success at Level 5 in curriculum and qualifications. The curriculum is broad and balanced, meets the requirements of the National Curriculum and prepares students for starting G.C.S.E. in Year 9. The curriculum should be engaging and fun, developing skills, knowledge and understanding of units of work which lay the foundation for success at Key Stage 4 and informed option choices.
We support the transition to Secondary School by building links with Primary Schools. Every new Year 7 student will have been visited by a member of the St Simon Stock Team in order to get known each individual. We offer several opportunities for future Year 7’s to visit our school to familiarise themselves with their future peers and teachers alike. The family of St Simon Stock provides a welcoming environment and support network to aid all students at this challenging time in their lives.
