Mrs L Goldson

Assistant Principal: SEND & Transition

I feel very proud to be taking over the important role of transition for our new and future students and absolutely loved running our recent summer school. What an amazing week we had!  Many of our new year 7s had never seen the school before, due to Covid, and literally took a leap of faith in choosing St Simon Stock for their secondary education. This year, I intend to continue working closely with our year 7s, primary schools, parents and outside agencies to develop our transition programme; to build upon the many benefits that transition time provides such as the confidence to make friends, to develop their independence and their excitement to learn about and love a wide range of new curriculum subjects.

Please feel free to contact me by email at if you have any questions or queries about our transition programme.
