Social Media – using social media and examinations/assessments

If you pass on any information about an exam - Be mindful: Sharing exam information can have consequences. Check the bottom of the page linked above to understand the potential outcomes. Imagine the frustration of being unable to take your driving test theory or having to explain a ban to your apprenticeship provider.

 

On the day of your exam – some really useful reminders

Can you see which three dates you should be available?

Why do you think there are contingency days?

What do you think contingency means?

 

So, you are sitting a written exam

Point A – F, which one is the most important?

Why do you think this?

 

You may have an ‘On-Screen test’ (in the computer room)

Points A – F are all important and do affect you.

Are you allowed to borrow a piece of equipment from another student? Why not?

Can you check your emails because you are on a computer? Why not?

 

You may have Coursework to complete OR an ‘NEA’ (Non-Examination Assessment)

You guessed it, rules and regulations are really important here too.

If you work in a group to collect data, how do you show your understanding?

It has to be your interpretation, not from the group.
