House System

The new House system, introduced in September 2024, embeds the school’s Carmelite Charism. We have moved to a system of six houses where each of the houses is named for one of the Carmelites saints or prophet, assigned a colour and a motto that embeds one of the school’s values and virtues or a variant of the virtue and a symbol associated with them.

Our Six Houses

Prophet Elijah

Virtue: Faith

Motto: Be Zealous in your faith.

Colour: Green for the olives that made the oil of the bread he multiplied for the widow Zerephath.

Symbol: A crow for the crow that fed him when he was hiding from Jezebel.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, like the Prophet Elijah,

let us remember that you are our God

and we are your servants

and let all we do be done at your Word.

Amen
