Term 5 Charity Fundraising: Loose Change for Lasting Change

Our chosen charity for Term 5 is the Catholic Children Society - Crisis Fund, which provides emergency support to children and families in our diocese who are experiencing sudden and severe hardship.

We are inviting our school community - students, staff, parents, governors, and friends of the school - to take part.

Fundraising Goal

Our modest fundraising target is: £500.00

Our campaign slogan, Loose Change for Lasting Change, reflects the belief that even the smallest contributions, made with love, can make a lasting difference.

Collection Day

Tuesday 29 April 2025

Student Leaders from Avila House, led by Deputy Head Student Noel Hill, will collect donations at the main gate before school.

Donations of any size are welcome and appreciated. Those who wish to contribute online can do so via the Catholic Children’s Society Crisis Fund website.

Additional Student-led Fundraising Activities:

To further engage students in this event, two fundraising activities will run during the next two weeks.

  1. Sweet jar raffle - Guess the number of sweets and win the jar!
  2. Mystery word - Find hidden letters around the school and earn merits. First 5 correct guesses will win a prize!

These activities are designed to foster joyful participation and remind us that small simple actions - whether a coin, a kind thought, or a prayer - can bring hope to others.

Thank you for your support!
