Transition to Sixth Form

Once students have made their application to Sixth Form many will be made a conditional offer of a place which is dependent on meeting the entry requirements.

To assist student transition into Sixth Form the following events are organised:

At the end of the Spring Term external applicants are invited to an applicant’s afternoon where they will be provided with key information, a tour of the school and an opportunity to meet staff and current Sixth Form students.
Internal students will be invited to guidance meetings during the school day, giving them the opportunity to meet the Sixth Form Staff.
At the end of the exam season all applicants are invited to the Transition event which takes place over 2 days. Here, students have the opportunity to attend KS5 subject lessons and learn more about life in the Sixth Form.
