Stocky Musicians Play at an Enchanting Evening of Film Music
Five of our talented students, Kezzi, Dorcus, Adam, Niah and Hannah, alongside music teacher Miss Smith, recently took to the stage for a truly special musical event, performing in An Evening of Music with Walt on Saturday 28 February at the beautiful Allington Castle Barn.
The concert, held in this stunning historic setting, featured the renowned Kings Hill Youth String Pops Orchestra and brought together an enchanting programme of much-loved film music. From sweeping melodies to powerful orchestral moments, the evening celebrated the magic of cinema through live performance, captivating the audience from start to finish.
Our students represented the school with exceptional professionalism, performing with confidence, precision, and clear passion for music. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to collaborate with other young musicians and be part of a high-quality ensemble, demonstrating both their individual talent and their commitment to their craft.
Beyond the performance itself, the event carried an important purpose. The concert raised funds for Kent Wildlife Trust and the Kings Hill String Club, supporting vital local wildlife conservation efforts as well as providing opportunities for young people to access and develop their musical education.
Taking part in such a meaningful and inspiring event is something our students should be incredibly proud of. Their contribution not only showcased their musical ability but also supported causes that make a real difference in the community.
