Celebrating A Level & BTEC Results 2026

St Simon Stock Catholic School is delighted to congratulate its students on their A-Level and BTEC results this year.

Students and staff are celebrating our Year 13 students going on to prestigious universities and other highly sought-after destinations, including highly competitive degree level apprenticeships and work placements.

In our popular and inclusive Sixth Form, 130 Year 13 students took A Levels and Level 3 BTECs this year, and we are delighted to see a consistent strength in our performance.

Headteacher Mrs Denny said ‘’It has been a wonderful opportunity today for students to celebrate their achievements alongside their teachers, family members and friends. Our students have worked exceptionally hard and demonstrated dedication and determination throughout their time in education. The unwavering support from our staff and their parents and carers, combined with their hard work has resulted in a successful set of results that will enable them to progress on to the next stage of their educational and life journey. I would like to offer our students our warmest congratulations and, on their behalf, thank all their teachers, support staff and their families, for their contribution to making these results possible.’’

In addition to some individual successes detailed below, we are pleased to celebrate notable achievements across a wide range of subject departments and qualifications. These include A-Level Art, Business Studies and Economics, Geography, History, and Sociology and many more. Notable success stories in our BTEC qualifications were again seen across many subject areas, including Criminology, Health and Social Care, IT and Sports Studies.

Mrs Denny continued: “As always, we are full of admiration for several students who have joined the school late for a variety of different reasons and for students who have overcome barriers to learning and have performed exceptionally well. There is a story behind each set of student results, and we are proud of every one of our Year 13 St Simon Stock Catholic School students. Our students will now move on successfully to their next pathways and this highlights our ongoing success in offering a broad, balanced and inclusive Sixth Form curriculum.’’

Some of our individual success stories include 4 outstanding students, Evelyn P, Luke R, Riley H and Lewis G who achieved highly across all their subjects.  Alongside many of our students gaining highly sought after apprenticeships, our students gained places at a range of universities, including the University of Bristol, Lancaster University, Loughborough University and Reading University.

We know that our Year 13 students’ futures will be bright. Alongside these academic achievements, it is also evident to me as Headteacher that our Year 13 students are resilient, inquisitive and questioning. It is clear that they want to go out and make a positive difference in the world and that they will carry the values and ethos of the school with them. These are qualities to be proud of.

All at St Simon Stock Catholic School wish our 2026 Stocky graduates every success, as they celebrate the result of their hard work and start the next exciting chapter in their lives. We thank them and their families for all the support they have given us.
