RAG Week: Fun with a Purpose

From 17–21 November, our Sixth Form was buzzing with colour, creativity and community spirit as students took part in an energetic and inspiring RAG (Raise and Give) Week, raising £741.65 for the NSPCC.

Led brilliantly by Head Student Riley H and organised by our dedicated Sixth Form Prefect Team, the week combined fun-filled activities with a powerful message about generosity and social responsibility. The aim was simple but important: to come together as a community and make a positive difference to the lives of children and families across the UK.

Each day brought something new and exciting:

  • The week kicked off with Career Day, featuring a Career Ladder game where students tried to guess the previous careers of our staff, sparking curiosity and lots of laughter.
  • Fictional and Movie Characters Day brought the school together in the main hall for a lively ‘guess the movie or character’ game, with students showing off their creativity and movie knowledge.
  • Green and Eco Day encouraged everyone to reflect on sustainability and care for our environment.
  • Sports Activities Day filled the Sports Hall at lunchtime with badminton and basketball games, giving students the chance to get active, cheer each other on and enjoy some friendly competition.
  • The week finished in style with 80s and 90s Dress-Up Day, transforming the school with colour and retro fun.

Students and staff embraced every opportunity to get involved, contributing donations via ParentPay or cash, with all funds going directly to the NSPCC. The creativity, energy and generosity shown throughout the week were a real credit to our Sixth Form.

RAG Week was a perfect example of our students leading with confidence, compassion and purpose — having fun while making a meaningful difference to the lives of others. Well done to Riley H, the Prefect Team and everyone who took part in making the week such a success!
