Radiology Workshop

On Friday 6 March, our Sixth Form students took part in an engaging Radiology Workshop delivered by the team from Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, offering a valuable insight into the wide range of career opportunities available within this important area of healthcare.

The session began with an informative presentation exploring the many roles within Radiology and how they contribute to patient care across the NHS. Students learned how this specialist field connects with almost every part of the healthcare system, helping them to better understand the breadth of pathways available in medical and technical careers.

Students also enjoyed a hands-on teamwork challenge, where they worked collaboratively to design and build the tallest paper tower strong enough to support a water bottle. This practical activity highlighted the importance of communication, problem-solving and collaboration — key skills that are essential in Radiology and across the wider NHS.

We are very grateful to the visiting team for delivering such an inspiring and interactive workshop, helping our students explore future possibilities in healthcare with confidence and curiosity.
