Sixth Form Sleepout Raises Funds for Porchlight
On Friday 20 March, our Sixth Form students, joined by several staff members, took part in a brave sleepout in aid of Porchlight.
Porchlight is Kent’s largest charity supporting people experiencing homelessness and those struggling with poor mental health. Participants spent the night outside the Sports Hall, sleeping on cardboard boxes and in their sleeping bags and experiencing, even briefly, the conditions that thousands of homeless young people face every night across the country.
Through their determination and generosity, the group raised an impressive £891.00 for Porchlight. We are incredibly proud of our students and staff for their compassion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
