Sixth Form Students Recognised by Turner Contemporary
We’re thrilled to share some incredible news from our Sixth Form Art & Photography students. Lauren Fuller (Year 13) has been selected to exhibit one of her photographs at the prestigious Turner Contemporary in Margate, as part of this year’s Young Creatives exhibition.
This is an outstanding achievement. The exhibition was open to all creatives under 25 across Kent — not just school students, but also university-level artists, filmmakers, and young professionals. To have work chosen for display at such a renowned gallery, and to be shown over the coming months, is a rare and exciting opportunity that speaks volumes about Lauren’s talent and artistic vision.
The 2025 exhibition theme is FORCE, drawing inspiration from the sea, Margate’s unique coastal light, and the power of community — and Lauren’s work clearly made a lasting impact on the selection panel.
We’re also proud to announce that Joe Brighton (Year 13) received a Highly Commended recognition for his submission — another fantastic accomplishment that showcases the creativity and quality coming out of our Sixth Form Arts Department.
Congratulations to both Lauren and Joe — your work is a credit to the school and a brilliant example of what young artists can achieve when they pursue their passion.
