Sports Day 2025
A Day of Fun, Team Spirit and Friendly Rivalry!
On Tuesday 15 July, our annual Sports Day brought the whole school together for a fantastic day of competition and community spirit. Throughout the day, each year group headed out onto the sports fields and yards during their allocated period to take part in a variety of sporting challenges, from netball, basketball and rounders to football and track events, all aiming to score precious points for their House.
In the final period, the excitement truly peaked as the entire school, students and staff, gathered around the running track to watch and cheer on the finalists in the 100m and 200m sprints and the thrilling relay races. The atmosphere was electric, with loud cheering, laughter and plenty of House pride on display.
And, of course, no Sports Day would be complete without the ever-popular staff relay race! After lots of confident predictions and good-natured teasing beforehand, the winning team raced home in style: congratulations to Miss Batchelor (Pastoral Manager), Mr Massey (TA), Mr Butler (PE) and Miss Markham (Marketing & Admissions) for clinching victory down the home straight!
A huge well done as well to House St Theresa of Avila, who were crowned the overall winners this year, an amazing achievement reflecting determination and teamwork across the day.
It was a brilliant day packed with fun, friendly rivalry and House spirit, showing once again how our school community comes together, not just to compete, but to celebrate and support one another.
