The British Army Careers Workshop 2025

On Tuesday 25 November, 50 students from Years 10–13 took part in an engaging British Army Careers Workshop, designed for students who have shown an interest in the wide range of careers the Army has to offer.

The event was delivered by a team of serving personnel from the British Army High Readiness Brigade. Students began the day with an informative overview of the British Army, exploring the breadth of career pathways available — from infantry roles to specialist careers in law, medicine and engineering.

Following the briefing, students took part in a series of physical challenges and team-based activities, designed to develop confidence, teamwork, problem-solving and resilience.

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to speak directly with members of the delivery team. These conversations gave students valuable insight into Army life, training routes and the skills required to succeed in different roles.

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved. The confidence, teamwork and mental and physical resilience developed during the event will undoubtedly support students as they consider their future career pathways.
