Year 10 Careers in Context Day – The Mystery of Mr Fishman’s Twin

This year’s Careers in Context Day had our Year 10 students donning their detective hats once again, faced with the mysterious “murder” of Mr Fishman’s twin brother – a twist worthy of any true crime series and a follow-up to last year’s unforgettable case of Mr Fishman himself!

Students followed the trail of clues through a packed day of Sixth Form taster lessons, from Chemistry experiments and Science investigations to Criminology, Psychology, Drama/Performing Arts, IT, Design & Technology, Maths and English. Each activity cleverly linked the subjects to real-world careers, showing how everything from analysing evidence to creative storytelling can help crack a case (or launch a future profession!).

By piecing together evidence, questioning suspects (all played by our brilliant staff!) and ruling out red herrings, students discovered not only who might have “done it,” but also how classroom learning can open doors to exciting futures.

All part of our ongoing commitment to inspiring, hands-on careers education, brought together by our award-winning Careers Coordinator, Mrs Boulton.
