Year 13 Results 2025
Congratulations to all our Sixth Form students.
St Simon Stock Catholic School is delighted to congratulate its students on their A-Level and BTEC results this year.
Students and staff are celebrating our Year 13 students going on to top universities and other highly sought-after destinations, including highly competitive degree level apprenticeships and work placements.
In our popular and inclusive Sixth Form, over 110 students took A-Levels and BTECs this year and we were delighted to see continued strength and improvements in our advanced level performance.
Headteacher Mrs Denny said ‘’It has been a wonderful opportunity today for students to celebrate their achievements alongside their teachers, family members and friends. Our students have worked exceptionally hard and demonstrated great resilience and determination throughout their time in education. The unwavering support from our staff and their parents and carers, combined with their hard work has resulted in a successful set of results that will enable them to progress on to the next stage of their educational and life journey. I would like to offer our students our warmest congratulations and, on their behalf, thank all their teachers and their families, for their contribution to making these results possible.’’
In addition to some individual successes detailed below, we are pleased to celebrate notable achievements across a wide range of subject departments and qualifications. These include A-Level Art & Design, Art & Design (Photography), Biology, Business Studies, Economics, English Literature, Film Studies, History, RE, Sociology and many more. Notable success stories in our BTEC qualifications were again seen across many subject areas, including Creative Media, Criminology, Health and Social Care, IT and Sports Studies. This notes our ongoing success in offering a broad and balanced curriculum.
Mrs Denny continued: “We are also full of admiration for a number of students who have joined the school late for a variety of different reasons and for students who have overcome barriers to learning and have performed exceptionally well. There is a story behind each and every set of student results and we are proud of each and every one of our Year 13 St Simon Stock Catholic School students. Our students are able to move on successfully to their next pathways and they will do this as well-rounded individuals, who will have great opportunities and will make a positive difference to the world around them’’.
Some of our individual success stories include 4 outstanding students — Joshua Damiral, Abigail Gibbs, Adam Masaryk and Alice Marshall who achieved two or more A*/A or Distinction grades. Alongside many of our students gaining highly sought after apprenticeships, our students gained places at a range of universities, including King’s College in London, Loughborough University, Queen Mary University of London, University of Nottingham, University of Surrey and many more.
As they take their next steps into higher education, apprenticeships, or the world of work, all in the St Simon Stock Catholic School community wish our Stocky graduates of 2025 every success for the future. We know that your futures will be bright and you will continue to make us proud.
