Year 5 Taster Days 2025

On 1 and 2 July, we were delighted to welcome Year 5 pupils for our annual Taster Days, part of our wider Open Events programme.

These days gave pupils a real glimpse into “a day in the life” of a Stocky student, all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They took part in fun, hands-on lessons across different subjects, enjoyed break and lunch in our school Restaurant, and spent time outside on the basketball courts, giving them a true taste of both learning and social life at St Simon Stock.

Our staff thoroughly enjoyed meeting and teaching such bright and enthusiastic young pupils, many of whom are now looking forward to becoming Year 6 pupils and starting to think about their next big step: choosing a secondary school.

We can’t wait to see some familiar faces again at our Open Evening this autumn!
