Year 8 and 9 Apprenticeship Awareness Talk

Earlier this July, our Year 8 and 9 students took part in an inspiring Apprenticeship Awareness Talk delivered by Lizzie from Careers Enterprise. The session explored what apprenticeships are, who they are for, and just how broad the opportunities can be — with over 700+ different industries, roles and apprenticeships currently available.

Lizzie also explained the different levels of apprenticeships and how they can offer valuable alternative pathways into skilled careers and higher education. The talk was dynamic and interactive, with plenty of questions and thoughtful answers, reflecting the students’ keen interest and curiosity.

It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and engagement, as students start thinking ahead to the many exciting routes their futures might take.
