Key Academic Dates
The following key dates for this academic year 2025-2026 are:
Virtual Parent Evening Events
These run online using the SchoolCloud system. The events usually have appointments available from 15:30 - 18:45 unless otherwise advised. Booking details will be shared approximately 1 week before each event including instructions for new families in Years 7, 12 and other new admissions.
Year 7 - Thursday 11 June 2026 and also on-site Welcome event on Thursday 25 September 2025 15:30 - 17:30
Year 8 - Thursday 30 April 2026
Year 9 - Thursday 4 December 2025
Year 10 - Thursday 15 January 2026
Year 11 - Thursday 12 February 2026
Year 12 - Thursday 20 November 2025 and additional on-site event on Thursday 12 March 2026 for selected students.
Year 13 - Thursday 9 October 2025 and an additional on-site event on Thursday 12 March 2026 for selected students.
Progress Reviews (Years 7-11)
You will be sent a numerical update on Attitude to Learning and Academic Progress during three windows in the year:
Progress Cycle 1 (Progress during Terms 1 and 2) - December 2025
Progress Cycle 2 (Progress during Terms 3 and 4) - April 2026
Progress Cycle 3 (Progress during Terms 5 and 6) - July 2026 (for Years 7-10 and 12 students only)
Assessment Points (Years 12-13)
Sixth Form students will be assessed approximately every 9 weeks on our Assessment Point model. For Year 12 students the first in-class assessment is in November 2025, and continues on 9-week intervals finishing in July 2026.
For Year 13 students we carry out in-class assessments in September 2025, and then we continue to assess and report home at 9-week intervals, finishing in May 2026.

We also provide a more detailed update including written targets for each subject and a detailed update from Form Tutors. These are scheduled as follows:
Year 7 - April 2026
Year 8 - January 2026
Year 9 - May 2026
Year 10 - March 2026
Year 11 - December 2025
Year 12 - June 2026
Year 13 - November 2025
Please remember that in addition to our reporting of Progress and Attitude to Learning, you can access live data such as Attendance, Achievement and Behaviour points via the EduLink app, that all parent(s)/carers and students are recommended to install.
If you have any questions about the progress of your child/children, please in the first instance contact their Form Tutor and Head of Year, or if it is a subject-specific issue then the relevant Subject Leader.
