Internal Applicants to Sixth Form

All students will receive ongoing support and guidance with the online application process through discussions with dedicated members of staff, subject leaders and members of the Sixth Form team. Students will also receive a session with an external Careers Advisor.

External Applicants to Sixth Form

If you currently attend a school in Kent, you can apply for the St Simon Stock Sixth Form using the Kent Choices website. Your log in details for Kent Choices will be provided by your current school. If you attend a school outside of Kent, you will be required to self-register directly on the Kent Choices website.

External applicants will need to complete a Sixth Form Supplementary Information Form (SIF) if they are Catholic or 'Looked After' children. All external applicants will need to complete a Data Collection form. Both of these forms can be found on the school website under Learn/Sixth Form/ Sixth Form Admissions and must be presented at enrolment day along with statement of results, passport, birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if applicable), UK Entry Visa (if applicable) and SEN documents (if applicable). Original documents only.

Sixth Form Induction

Once students have made their application to Sixth Form many will be made a conditional offer of a place which is dependent on meeting the entry requirements.

To assist student transition into Sixth Form the following events are organised:

  • At the end of the Spring Term external applicants are invited to an applicant’s afternoon where they will be provided with key information, a tour of the school and an opportunity to meet staff and current Sixth Form students.
  • At the end of the exam season all applicants are invited to the Transition event which takes place over 2 days. Here, students have the opportunity to attend KS5 subject lessons and learn more about life in the Sixth Form.
