Hours
In a typical week, St Simon Stock Catholic School is open to students for 32 hours and 30 minutes.
This time runs from the official start of the school day (morning registration) to the official end of the compulsory school day. This includes breaks, but not optional before or after school activities.
Other
Departure at the end of the day is staggered, with Years 7-9 dismissed from Period 5 two minutes later than Years 10-13. This helps relieve congestion at the front of the school. The additional two minutes for Years 7-9 in Period 5 will be used for reading and all students should have a reading book with them.
