The Computing Department have recently invested in a wide range of exciting products. Year 10 Computer Science students have been the first to enjoy exploring a range of Raspberry Pi kits, Edison Robots and Lego Mindstorm kits. From September 2021 we hope to launch our new Robotics Club where pupils will be able to explore how to program the robots using block editors or Python and encourage them to think critically and problem-solve. We hope this will continue to cultivate a positive attitudinal student mindset towards STEM and build their interest to to pursue further STEM opportunities.

“I have always wanted to explore a Raspberry Picade but did not have enough money to buy one. I have now had an amazing opportunity to build one and I hope to teach younger year students on how to use it in September.”
