Work with Love

GCSE Art Nativity

The GCSE Art class 9B are working together to produce a very unusual piece of work based on the Nativity story. They are using light and shadow by making puppets inspired by ancient traditional Indian shadow art. These puppets are jointed and finely decorated with cut out pattern. The students’ sketchbooks with their working drawings will also be on show. As the figures and backgrounds come to life, students can see the work growing on the windows of B9. The plan is to film the moving puppets performing the Christmas Story. Happy Christmas from all of us in Art!
