Geography is Going Places
One Hundred and nine GCSE Geography students took part in a field trip to Hythe and Dymchurch on Friday 8th November. Fortunately, we were blessed with beautiful sunny weather.
Students measured the effects of longshore drift along the coast between Dymchurch and Hythe. In Hythe, we looked at what the high street has to offer locals and visitors, which included carrying out a questionnaire and environmental survey. This was to prepare students for Paper 3 of the GCSE Geography exam, which they will sit next summer. As usual, Stocky students rose to the occasion with exemplary behaviour and a positive attitude. There was even time for fish and chips.
