SSSCS Vs NTC

NTC 53 – 52 Stocky

The U16 basketball team started their Kent league campaign away at Northfleet Technology College. NTC a well renowned school basketball force in Kent looked the part with their impressive squad and facilities. The squad of 10 including two Year 9 pupils raced into a 5-0 lead in the first quarter. However NTC used their experience and were soon 11 points ahead in the 3rd quarter. Stocky rallied after a time out and with seconds to spare in the match were a point ahead, but losing the ball cheaply allowed NTC to race up the other end and score the decisive basket. The match, which boasted four County players finished 53 NTC and 52 Stocky. The next match is at home to Canterbury Academy.
