On Friday 27^th September Maria McElroy from our link college at Cambridge University visited the school. She spent the morning helping raise the aspirations of our students. This included a session for both St Simon Stock’s and St Gregory’s Oxbridge candidates preparing them for potential interviews in the future. She also spoke to some of our Year 12 and Year 10 students to assist in encouraging them to apply to top universities. The students were extremely enthusiastic about the session which provided students with some ideas on how and where to start when acquiring that super-curricular knowledge which will enable them to challenge themselves beyond their school curriculum.
