Last Monday a small group of Year 12 students were lucky enough to visit parliament for the day. After an extended tour of the Chambers, Westminster Palace and other highlights we took part on a workshop looking at how laws are made and passed. We also witnessed some of the protests around the Brexit debate on our way home. We had a great day and really got a lot out of the experience. Some of the students offered to stay and help them make some sense of the current issues in politics. We will wait for a call!
