Year 12 A Level Conference

Mr Capone took a group of 10 year 12 students to London on Friday 26th January for an A Level conference. They listened to talks by Julie Arliss on Religious Language, Dr Tim Mawson on the meaning of life and Professor Keith Ward on the ethics of Jeremy Bentham and Immanuel Kant.

The trip was a success and the students received notes from the scholars which will go on to be the basis of their revision and learning for their exams next year.

Matthew Hartley contributed to the debate on whether or not it was rational to believe in God.
