Year 13 Geography Field Trip
Year 13 Geography students visited Reculver on the North Kent coast on 10th January. The day was dry and calm, in contrast to the previous weeks of wet and windy weather! We were very fortunate. Students were accompanied by Mr Williams & Mrs Ryan.
The purpose of the visit was to experience sampling and data collection techniques and to generate ideas for A Level Geography coursework. We also looked at the effectiveness of the sea defences to the East and West of Reculver Towers in the light of the coastal management plan for this stretch of the Kent Coast.
